Easy Peanut Brittle

    3 cups white sugar
    3 teaspoons butter
    1/2 cup of water
    2 teaspoons soda
    1 cup white Karo
    1 teaspoon salt
    3 cups raw shelled peanuts

Boil sugar, Karo and water until it spins a thread. Add peanuts and stir constantly until it turns a brownish gold. Remove from heat, add butter, salt and soda. Pour on to a buttered cookie sheet to cool.
