Boiled Peanuts

    8 qt. Water
    3 c. salt
    3 lb. raw peanuts in shell
    Optional: Crab Boil, or hot pepper to taste

Combine water, salt, and desired seasoning, bring to a boil. Add peanuts. Cook on low for 3-4 hr. Strain. Remove peanuts from shells. Can be eaten hot or cold.

This is a big favorite in South Carolina.
